This property is a private and exclusive rental, meaning that you will have the entire 1000 acres to yourselves. The ranch is available for only a set number of large family reunions/groups each year.

The Ranch is positioned on the banks of the San Saba River and is located between the towns of Mason and Brady, making it an ideal location for corporate events, large family reunions and weddings. 

The 1.5 miles of fast-flowing, rock-bottom river runs year round and provides our guests with great opportunities for swimming, fishing, intertubing and fireside chats. 

There are 1000 acres to explore including a manicured 5 acre greenway, the perfect spot on the river to have an old fashioned picnic, play a game of football or frisbee, roast marshmallow in the firepit, or just go for a swim. 

Our ranch staff lives on the property 1.5 miles from our guests and is available to assist if any problems occur during your stay. 

For horse owners, there is a corral, and miles of trails to explore. 

And for all of you naturalists out there we have set up a bird watching station in one of our canyons with over 150 bird species recorded on the ranch so far!

Main Lodge - the largest of the cabins on the ranch. This 5000 sq. ft luxury log cabin is the crown jewel of the property - overlooking the San Saba River Valley with a 360 degree covered porch and outdoor tabled seating for up to 100 guests. There is a groomed 5 acre greenway along the river under huge pecans trees for large outdoor picnics, games, weddings etc. Inside the lodge are 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 4 wood-burning fireplaces, 2 full kitchens with granite countertops, 30 ft ceilings, a game room and several living areas. Other amenities include swimming pool, a huge outdoor firepit, family-style swing on the river, parking lot for up to 100 guests, propane grill and manicured grounds. Sleeps 12. 

The Bunkhouse - Built in the 1920‘s, this quaint two bedroom cottage was created by the grandson of the first man to settle in the valley. Complete with original stone fireplace, hitching post, ranch-style cedar post fences, full kitchen and living area, satellite television, large outdoor firepit, fish pond, hilltop panorama and a covered dining area with views of 30 acres of groomed pastureland. Great for wildlife viewing. This cabin sleeps 8.

The Bullpen - this newly renovated bunk-style facility includes 8 twin beds, 2 double bathrooms, television, outdoor firepit and shooting range and horse corral. With nearby access to trailhead and map station. Pony rides are also available upon request. Sleeps 8. 

Red Cedar Barn and Event Center - This is the main indoor gathering area for all family reunions and corporate meetings on the ranch. What once served as a working barn and feed pen almost a century ago is now a newly renovated event center used for receptions, parties, and small weddings. Inside there is tabled seating for up to 75 guests, fully stocked kitchen, antigue western style serving bar, air-conditioning, western decor including leather saddles, stained concrete floors, wagon-wheel chandoliers, century-old ranch photos, and reclaimed barn wood from floor to ceiling. A lighted outdoor reception area is included as well as parking for up to 75 guests.

The ranch consists of 1000 rolling acres with liveoak savannahs, open grasslands, high views and natural springs flowing down limestone canyons. 
There are over one and half miles of private river frontage, 2 mile-long canyons on the ranch to explore on foot, over 8 miles of private trails for ATV's or high clearance vehicles, as well as an old german homestead to explore from the 1870's. 
Guests can enjoy fishing on the banks of the San Saba for a variety of species including guadalupe bass, hiking on over 8 miles of private trails, or photo safari's with any of our 6 species of exotic game on the ranch.
There is also a cave on the property where we have unearthed some amazing archaeological treasures over the years!
- In addition to horses, wildlife is abundant and includes whitetail and axis deer, blackbuck antelope, African Oryx, Aoudad, turkey, fox, coyotes, bobcats, quail, dove, roadrunners, and more. The spectacular stretch of the San Saba river runs year round and varies between quick-moving rapids to slow, open water fishing holes.

Located in Dripping Springs, just 25 minutes southwest of downtown Austin, this secluded 5 acre property provides ample room for the extended family, large groups of friends or corporate off sites. We are located less than one quarter of a mile from Memory Lane Event Center and La Hacienda. Our place can comfortably sleep 20 people on the 14 beds, and we provide additional queen air mattresses that can be set up throughout the bedrooms and living space if you really like your traveling mates. 14 beds, 6.5 baths, luxury linens, towels & new comfortable furnishings. The five acres of land offers plenty of space to feel secluded and enjoy many outdoor activities. We just renovated the pool house with a wet bar, 1/2 bathroom, huge six burner weber gas grill, fire pit, 65in high definition tv & direct tv for sports and outdoor movie night. There are two homes on the property. The front home is 3,300 square feet with a large deck over looking the pool out of the upstairs bedroom. This bedroom has two high-end queen mattresses, a comfortable leather love seat with a twin sleeper and room for an air mattress. This room has a gigantic master closet that has plenty of room for another queen size air mattress. If needed, you could fit 9 people in this space. The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom and a separate vanity area with a sink and a ton of counter space for getting ready. Both of these bedrooms have new high-end king size mattresses, with luxurious linens and pillows. The fourth bedroom has 2 bunk beds and space to set up a provided queen air mattress. The twin beds on the bunks are high quality and not your typical bunk bed mattresses. The living room is very spacious with enough room to seat a group of up to 30 if you bring in the dining room table chairs. There is a 65in high definition tv with DIRECTV and smart tv programming. The dining room has a very large table with ten chairs. The counter top bar has three bar stools and the double dining room doors open out to the covered back patio with seating for six. We can also provide a temporary table with a table cloth and more chairs for larger groups. With notice, we could accommodate a dinner party of up to a maximum 30 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with most everything needed to prepare a meal. We can also help to coordinate catering services with advanced notice. The 1,300sf side house has 3 modern bedrooms with 3 queen beds, a full/queen bunk bed, full kitchen, living space, large dining area, 2 full bathrooms and a game room with a ping pong table. It is about 25 yards from the main house.

It is less than $10 for a cab ride downtown and $22 for a cab ride from the airport. 

The property is in a park like setting on a hill with walking sidewalks and hundreds of trees. It has two community tennis courts, a community swimming pool and plenty of free parking. At 3700 square feet, it is easy to forget this is a town house. 

The ground floor contains a room with a ping pong table and sofa bed, full bathroom, and a washer and dryer room. That room has access to the second floor, and the garage. There is a gas grill as well. Outside is a dock suitable for a boat and a jet ski simultaneously.

The second floor contains the main entrance, a full kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a big screen all in one open area. The whole area overlooks the lake and there is a large balcony outside the living room. The balcony has stairs onto the dock and up to the third floor balcony. There is also a bedroom facing the street with two queen size beds and a full bathroom. 

The third floor has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and a balcony over the living room balcony with a wonderful view. The master bath has a large bath, large shower, two sinks, a skylight, and a walk in closet. There is a second bedroom overlooking the street with a full bathroom and king size bed. Both bedrooms have TVs. The last bedroom is in the middle, has two twin beds and a pullout bed, and a full bathroom. It has no view and is recommended for kids.

The house is exactly one block away from one of the hike and bike trail entrance that loops around Austin's gem, Lady Bird Lake. The crushed granite path is full of people walking, strolling, jogging, biking and the lake is often full of stand up paddle boarders, kayakers, and the UT rowing team. You can take a long walk on this trail all the way along the lake shore to Zilker Park for ACL Fest or a swim in Barton Springs. If you rent a bike you can get around the beautiful 10 mile trail loop and be back home in less than an hour.

Guests will have full private access to the entire home. There is a drive way to park a car and also available street parking.

The neighborhood

Holly is the most conveniently located neighborhood in Austin. It has historically been a working-class neighborhood until a new wave of artistic residents have began to forge its own influence. East Austin is where trendy bars, cafes, galleries, art studios and shiny new condos meets taquerias, bbq joints, tire shops and pinata stores. The house is walking distance to all the parks, restaurants and bars along the eclectic streets of Cesar Chavez, E. 5th, 6th, and 7th streets. Bus number 17 takes you directly to the Austin Convention Center and leaves every 15 minutes.
